We all like female attention that we didn’t have to do anything for. It’s like finding $20 on the ground on our way to school as kids. As much as we want to spend it right away or show off to our friends, maybe holding onto it for a bit—or waiting to see if someone nearby is missing $20—is a better idea.

As men, female-initiated contact can seem odd, especially in the age of TikTok where it could just be a prank or some humiliation ritual for likes. We think, it’s too good to be true that a cute chick can be so forward. Personally, I think men are right to think this, even if the reasoning is a little disempowering.

I can guarantee with near certainty that if you’re in shape, smell good, and dress well—combined with some basic social skills—you will get some form of women initiating a conversation, or at least prompting you to start one. But is it always honest? Should you always be convinced that every girl charming you truly wants you so badly?

No.
